This is the Life

Ok. This weekend has been amazing. So much occurred. I love my sisturrrr, just to start. Now that she's out of school, I'm so grateful I see her more. This girl does everything (mostly school involved, but hey it got her prom princess so i'm not complaining) and now she has more time to be with me! Her jealous older sister who is very needy when it comes to Beth time. Here's how we spent this weekend.

We did the incline this morning. It was WAY harder than the first time. I think it's b/c i lacked motivation and didn't have "making a video about climbing the incline" to distract me. So aching muscles and gasping lungs were consuming my attention. luckily beth is amazing and kept me going even when i wanted to jump off the side of the mountain. Here we are at the top. oh did i mention we climbed it in 70 degree weather? ya, dont' recommend that.Ok, this was yesterday, Beth and i were chillin at the house and my landlords were in their yard having a picnic under their beautiful cherry blossom tree. I snatched a photo of them from my window. Stalker much? Hey, I have a relationship with them and consider them good friends, so leave me alone. They are an amazing christian family and I'm so grateful God brought me to this house and into relationship with them!
After Beth and I laid out in the sun for an hour at CC (the college two blocks from my house) we walked over to a neighbors house (also my team leader for WL) and borrowed their tandem. On yes. We rode around downtown on this tandem and it was probably one of the funnest things I have ever done. I couldn't steer well so beth had to take over. We laughed a lot and it was ridiculously amazing.

we tried to get a shot while riding. unsuccessful. so here's a shot of us pretending we're riding. we're on the bike, just not actually moving. haha.
haha here's the shot of us trying to ride and take a pictures. haha.
We parked and got some boba tea downtown at this place called the "tea zone" run by mostly asians. it's a really cute place where you can get any slushy, frap, tea, etc with boba bubbles in them. oh yes. amazing. beth's fave.
then last night i went to a scrapbooking party, yes i'm old. and then went to kristi's where we got comfy on the couch and watched "the family stone". really cute movie. i laughed a lot.

then today after climbing the incline (yes we missed church cuz i was too slow on climbing), don't judge me) i took beth home (my former home) and got a late start on this baby quilt i'm making for a co-worker's baby boy who was born 3 weeks ago. i know, it's super late. but everyone loves gifts right? even when they're late? haha. it's a wonderful life. the end.
