peace

i'm not even sure how to start this blog. so many thoughts swirling in my mind and heart. it's an exciting season and i'm not going to wish it away no matter how uncomfortable it may be. big decisions are being made. hard conversations are occurring. God is in this place. God is bigger then the air i breathe.

i've been meditating on the psalms a lot lately and they are so stirring, so moving, so powerful. brit's in a season of job hunting, praying expectedly that God will provide a yl staff position for him in colorado. I am in a season of transition, praying about leaving the service center, praying about doing more ministry beside the man i love. it could look many ways.

with open arms lord i walk forward, i walk humbly, i walk hopeful. for hope is the anchor of my soul ---

Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:17-19

  1. If I wonder why something trying is allowed.
    and press for prayer that it may be removed;
    if I cannot be trusted with any disappointment,
    and cannot go on in peace under any mystery,
    then I know nothing of Calvary love.
