Surely as the Sun Rises

Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth." Hosea 6:3
It's been a difficult week juggling tons of relationships and duties preparing for assignment next week. I'm overwhelmed in a good and bad way. Somehow the Lord met me and continues to provide exactly what I need. Whether that be a phone call from my best friend unexpectedly or an email from a woman I look forward to knowing well. He restores my soul when I so desperately need it.

After a hard day, I slowly drifted into sleep. No alarm, nothing, simply the Spirit awoke me this morning 5:45am to this beautiful sunrise. I'm convinced it was just for me.

And I—in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness. Psalm 17:15

In the words of Brandon heath, Red sky
"Cover me with the red sky tonight
The promise of a better day to come
Sing over me an angelic symphony
Tell me everything will be alright
With the red sky tonight"

He holds my heart.
